Privacy Policy

Loaio builds AI-powered tools to scan lottery tickets, track official results, and help you coordinate syndicates. We respect your privacy and only collect the minimum information needed to run the service.

Information we collect

• Account details: email address (for login, verification and security notices).
• Ticket images & extracted data: images you upload and the numbers/draw data we extract. By default we process images transiently to return results; if a feature lets you save history, we store what’s needed to show that history.
• Usage & device metadata: basic logs (IP, user agent, timestamps, error events) to keep the service secure and reliable.
• Communications: emails you send to support and our email delivery status (e.g. bounced/delivered).

How we use your information

• To provide core features (scan tickets, show results, manage syndicates).
• To send only operational emails: account verification, password reset, syndicate invites/acceptances, role/ownership updates, and security alerts (new device, email change).
• To protect the service (fraud and abuse detection, debugging, performance monitoring).
• With your consent, to send non-essential updates or product news (you can opt out any time).

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We process data under: (i) contract necessity (to deliver the app); (ii) legitimate interests (service security, prevention of abuse); and (iii) consent (where required, e.g. optional marketing).

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the app, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, authentication and storage. Typical providers include AWS (in particular SES for email), Firebase (authentication, storage) and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by confidentiality and security obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data retention

• Account: kept until you delete your account.
• Ticket images/data: processed transiently unless you save results/history; saved data is kept until you delete it.
• Logs: typically retained 30–90 days for security and reliability.
• Email delivery metadata: retained as required for abuse prevention and compliance.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data, object to/limit certain processing, or request a copy (portability) where applicable. To exercise rights, contact support@loaio.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your device updated.

Children

Loaio is for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll post changes here and update the “Last updated” date.
